Overview
Morse Code (“the App”) is a mobile application for encoding and decoding Morse code, with an optional password-based encryption feature. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
Short version: the App works offline, does not require an account, and does not collect, sell, or share your personal data with us or third parties.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or account credentials
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers or analytics events
- Crash reports or usage telemetry sent to our servers
- Your Morse input, output, or password on any remote server
The App does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
Data Processed on Your Device
Text you type, Morse output, and any optional password are processed only on your device for encoding, decoding, or local encryption/decryption.
- The optional password is kept in memory while the App is running and is not written to disk, preferences, files, or logs.
- If you use the copy action, the selected text may be placed on the system clipboard, which is controlled by your device’s operating system.
- Closing or force-quitting the App clears in-memory content according to normal operating system behavior.
Internet Access
Core features do not require an internet connection. The App does not upload your messages or passwords to our servers.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will be revised when changes are posted at this URL.
